About the experience
The route begins among traditional dairy pastures beneath the southern Julian Alps. From there, it climbs onto panoramic ridges and continues across more than ten summits above 2,000 metres.
Much of the traverse stays high above the valleys, with views across Bohinj, Komna and the Triglav Lakes Valley. A short and relatively easy protected section adds an alpine element before the final descent into the Trenta Valley.
The terrain is technically mostly moderate, but the long hiking days and cumulative elevation gain require good fitness, previous mountain hiking experience and confidence on exposed ridges.

What Our Guests Say
Marko is a great guide. We spent 2 days with him and, despite the rain, we really enjoyed our trekking on the Julian Alps! He is passionate about the mountains, and he transmits it in every word and detail he shares. We could tell that he had carefully prepared the route, with several alternatives in case of inclement weather.
Marko accompanied us for two days towards the ascent to Triglav. He is very prepared and patient, he guided us on our first via ferrata. We did the most critical parts together in roped party to always feel safe. We recommend him!!
Very nice experience with Marko! I recommend. Marko is very nice and he knows Slovenia and his region very well.
The hike was one of the highlights of our stay in Bovec. Our guide adapted the pace to the group, shared interesting stories about the area and took us to places we would never have discovered on our own.
A wonderful mountain experience for the whole family. The route was carefully chosen for our abilities, and the guide was patient and encouraging with the children. We all felt safe and enjoyed every part of the day.
