About the experience
After meeting in Bovec, a short transfer takes us to the village of Soča and the starting point of the hike.
The trail climbs through peaceful forest and follows an old shepherd’s path towards a former mountain settlement where people lived until several decades ago. Meadows, stone remains and the surrounding landscape still reflect the difficult but resourceful life of the local mountain communities.
At the viewpoint, we take time to rest and enjoy views across the Soča Valley and the surrounding peaks. The return follows a quiet forest trail back towards the valley.
After the hike, an optional lunch at a local restaurant can be arranged.

What Our Guests Say
Marko is a great guide. We spent 2 days with him and, despite the rain, we really enjoyed our trekking on the Julian Alps! He is passionate about the mountains, and he transmits it in every word and detail he shares. We could tell that he had carefully prepared the route, with several alternatives in case of inclement weather.
Marko accompanied us for two days towards the ascent to Triglav. He is very prepared and patient, he guided us on our first via ferrata. We did the most critical parts together in roped party to always feel safe. We recommend him!!
Very nice experience with Marko! I recommend. Marko is very nice and he knows Slovenia and his region very well.
The hike was one of the highlights of our stay in Bovec. Our guide adapted the pace to the group, shared interesting stories about the area and took us to places we would never have discovered on our own.
A wonderful mountain experience for the whole family. The route was carefully chosen for our abilities, and the guide was patient and encouraging with the children. We all felt safe and enjoyed every part of the day.
